William Thomas Malarkey, 83, of Columbus, New Jersey, died July 5, 2016 at his home. Mr. Malarkey was born May 25, 1933, to Edward and Mary Jane Malarkey. He grew up in both the Berkshires area of Massachusetts and Brooklyn, N.Y. He enlisted in the army and served in Germany during the Korean War. He married RoseMarie Ferrero on June 3, 1961, and had three daughters. The family settled into Staten Island, New York, before retiring to New Jersey. He was a former member of the Social Club, the Knights of Columbus, and a communicant of St. Andrew’s Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, RoseMarie Malarkey of Bayonne, N.J.; his daughter and son-in-law Marianne and Michael Bious; a daughter Rosemary Malarkey and his daughter,son-in-law and grandchildren, Lynda, Robert, Matthew and Allison Vinsko. He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary Jane Malarkey, as well as his two brothers, Edward and Robert Malarkey. Arrangements are with Huber-Moore Funeral Home at 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, N.J. 08505. Relatives and friends may gather there on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 2 to 5pm, and again on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 10am to 11am. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 11am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Internment to follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, N.J. 08562, with a family ceremony.
