William A. Huss

William A. Huss, 75, of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015, at home. Born in Lakewood, NJ, the son of Henry and Martha Huss, Bill resided in Willingboro, Voorhees and Blackwood, NJ, before moving to Medford two years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served honorably in the Dental Corps from 1966 to 1968. Bill received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently he owned and operated his own practices in Camden, Cherry Hill, and Voorhees. After selling his offices he continued to practice his passion at the office of Dr. Joseph Yabolnicky, in Voorhees. Bill enjoyed skiing and was a member of the South Jersey Ski Club. He was an avid golfer, and was a member of the Medford Lakes Country Club. He is survived by his devoted friend and companion, Helen Ferrara; two sons and daughters-in-law, William H.S. Huss and Cindy of Elk Grove, CA, and Noel and Beth Conway of York, PA; his daughter and son-in-law, Jami and Richard Thoms of Manasquan, NJ; his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Henrietta Huss; seven grandchildren, William, Carly, Thomas, Sydney, Megan, Cooper and Makenna; and two nieces, Nancy and Gayle. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. A Memorial service will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow the service at Medford Lakes Country Club 70 Oak Drive, Medford Lakes, NJ. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
