Cienkowski, 91, of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice, Mt. Holly. Born in Camden, NJ, Thomas was a lifelong Southampton resident. He was the proud owner of the Evergreen Dairy Bar in Southampton for 65 years. Thomas graduated from Pemberton High School in 1942, and was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served during WWII. Brother of the late Robert and Walter Cienkowski; he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marion (nee Anderson) Cienkowski; three step children and their spouses, Patricia and Joseph Varga, Thomas Henry, and Ronald and Kathryn Henry; his sister, Adelaide Lafferty; two step grandchildren, Meghan and Sean; his step great grandson, Benjamin; his close friend and manager, Debbie Ware; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Cienkowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 9:30-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Thomas' memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
