Teresa M Skorich Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Date of Notice: Sunday, March 3, 2013. Burlington County Times, Courier Post. Teresa M. (Scaffede) Skorich, 91 entered into rest on Feb. 28th, 2013. She was preceded by her true love, Nicholas L. Skorich, her husband of 56 years and former Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joseph Scaffede. Beloved Mother of Nicholas L Skorich, Jr.(deceased), Joanne Smith (Ed Smith) and Paula Mathews (Robert Mathews), Grandmother to Jessica Murray (Robert Murray), Nicholas Mathews and Teresa Mathews. Great Grandmother to Reese, Graham and Scarlett Murray. She was always affectionately referred to as "Mom" and "Grandma" by many and had a special place in her heart for her many cherished Godchildren. Teresa was not only a wonderful wife, mother & grandmother but she was also an Executive Assistant at General Motors in Detroit, MI, and a valued team member of Response Analysis in Princeton NJ. She dedicated many years to volunteer work for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Friends & Family will be received from 4-9PM, on Thursday March 7th at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Final viewing will be on Friday, March 8th, from 8:30-9:30AM, at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton, NJ.
