Ruth A. Steinberg

Ruth A. Steinberg, 88, of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Ruth resided in Mt. Ephraim for many years before moving to Leisuretowne 20 years ago. She was a Junior Officer for First Pennsylvania Bank in Philadelphia, which is now known as Wells Fargo Bank. Ruth was a parishioner at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, and was a member of their senior citizens club. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Sister of the late John J. “Jack” Steinberg, Sr.; she is survived by her sister-in-law, Laura Steinberg of Southampton, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 11AM, at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will follow in New Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ 08088. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
