Masako I Nicholson

Masako I. Nicholson, 84 of Pemberton Twp., passed away Monday June 9, 2014 at home. Born in Sendai, Japan, she has been a longtime resident of Pemberton. She was a member of the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, a Volunteer for the Red Cross, member of the Browns Mills Senior Citizens Center and she also attended the Japanese Christian Church of Philadelphia. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Arata and Tokise Ishihara; her husband Wesley Nicholson; two brothers, Keichi and Toshio Ishihara. She is survived by 2 sons, Paul Nicholson of Jacksonville, Fl.; Bruce Nicholson of Burlington, N.J.; 3 daughters, Doris Nicholson of Columbus, N.J.; Jennifer Namemnik of Melborne, Fl.; Joyce Nicholson of Pemberton,N.J.; 5 sisters, Setsuko Ishihara, Yasako Minami, Takako Ishihara, Atsuko Franklin and Nobuko Yamashiro; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, from 9:30 to 11AM at the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, 2 Pemberton- Browns Mills Road, Browns Mills, N.J. 08015. Funeral service will follow at 11AM, at the church. Burial will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10AM at the Brig. Gen.Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Road, Arneytown, N.J. Arrangements are by the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Rd. Browns Mills, N.J. 08015.
