Date of notice : Thursday November 8, 2012. Trentonian Mary K. Meleg, 73, of Groveville, NJ, passed away on October 29, 2012, at home, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Trenton, NJ, she leaves a legacy of love, values and traditions that will carry on in the hearts of those she loved. She enjoyed cooking, preparing for the holidays and other family celebrations, and vacationing and spending Easter at the Jersey Shore. She especially liked to be there for those in need and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She lived for her grandchildren, who brought her great joy, and spending time with her dog, Akira. She was employed by Dura Bond and the State Police for many years. She was also a long time member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Devoted mother of Stephen J. Meleg III and his wife Candace J. Meleg. Loving grandmother of Rachel Marie Meleg Peter Calisti; Casie Lynn Meleg; Michaela Nicole Meleg; Stephen J. Meleg IV. Great grandmother of Brooklynn Rose Floyd. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen J. Meleg Jr. and her son Michael J. Meleg. Relatives and friends can call on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. A "Time of Remembrance" will follow at 3:00 PM at the Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad Street Trenton, NJ 08610. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
