Mary S Aquila Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Date of Notice: Sunday, April 14, 2013; Burlington County Times Mary S. Aquila, 99, formerly of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Born in Clifton Heights, PA, Mary resided in South West Philadelphia for over 40 years, and then spent over 20 years in Leisuretowne. She was a parishioner at the Church of the Holy Eucharist in Tabernacle, and enjoyed playing cards. Mary was an old fashioned grandmother who loved and adored her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Wife of the late John C. Aquila; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore J. and Denise Aquila of Tabernacle; her daughter and son-in-law, Rose T. and William Leonard of Sicklerville; five grandchildren, Christopher, Meredith, Jonathan, Nicole and Andrew; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Sarah and Griffin; one nephew, Joseph DeVitis; and two nieces, Delores DeVitis, and Patricia D'Urso. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
