Martin Boor, Jr. Date of Notice: Tuesday, September 11, 2012; Trentonian, Trenton Times Martin Boor, Jr., 91, of Jobstown, passed away on Saturday, September 08, 2012, at the Samaritan Inpatient Hospice, Mt. Holly. Born in Trenton, NJ, Martin moved to Bordentown in 1969 where he resided for 43 years, until 2007 when he and his wife moved to Springfield Twp. with their daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. He was a member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Trenton. Martin was a U.S. Army veteran who served during WWII. He was a life-long member of the Bordentown Elks, a member of the D.A.V., and was a founding member of the Goat Hill Gophers Golf Club. Martin was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Husband of the late Dorothy L. Boor; son of the late Katherine and Martin Boor, Sr.; brother of the late Steve Boor, Betty Joseph and Ann Murr; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Amy and Bryce Chase, Jr.; two grandsons Bryce M. and Court Chase; his sister Judy Murphy; his brother John Boor and his companion Mary Lou Mohr; his brother-in-law Jay Joseph; his nieces and nephews, Brian, Nancy, Alison, Sandy, Richard, Stephen, and Linda; and many beloved cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends can call on Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 6-8PM and again on Friday, September 14, from 10-11AM at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ 08505. A funeral service will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N. Hanover, NJ.
