Date of Notice: Sunday, December 15, 2013, Asbury Park Press, Shamong Sun. Margaret Schweitzer, 94, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, at Virtua W. Jersey Hospital, Marlton. Born in New York City, NY, Margaret resided in Babylon, L.I., NY, Shrewsberry Twp., and Whiting, NJ most of her life. She was a member of the ORT Women's Club in Whiting. Margaret loved to travel, and spend time with her family and friends. Wife of the late Louis Schweitzer; mother of the late Frederick L. Schweitzer. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Ted Landwehr of Shamong, NJ; her daughter-in-law, Karen Schweitzer of Manchester Twp., NJ; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 17, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow on at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N. Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
