Kathleen McLoughlin

Kathleen "Kay" McLoughlin of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Medford Lakes, NJ, died Saturday, October 12, 2013. She was 72. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 21, 1941, one of two children of Patrick and Kathleen McNaughton. She graduated from St. Vincent Nursing School, where she excelled at every sport. Kay married Walter Vincent McLoughlin on October 3, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Hackensack, Glen Rock, Medford Lakes and Ocean City, NJ during their marriage. She was an RN for St. Vincent's Hospital, Medford Leas Nursing Home and Genesis Healthcare-Voorhees, while raising four children. She is survived by her loving husband Walter of 49 years, her beloved sister Patricia "Tricie" and brother-in-law Peter Greenstein of Plantation, FL, her loving children, Dennis, Mark & daughter-in-law Lee Ann, Kathleen and son-in-law Frank Pettisani, Kevin and daughter in-law Karlee. She also leaves her eight cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Ciara, Nolan, Luke, Joe, Alexis, Kate, & Elise, and her beloved niece Bethany as well as numerous friends and co-workers. Special thanks to the devoted and loving staff at Virtua Hospital and PowerBack Rehab, who kept Kay comfortable during her time there. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at 12:30pm at St. Mary's of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ 08055.
