John Kenneth Roth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Date of Notice: Thursday, November 1, 2012 John Kenneth Roth, 83, of the LeisureTowne section of Southampton, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly. Born in Collingswood, NJ, he was a former 30 year resident of the Centennial Lake section of Medford, before moving to Southampton 10 years ago. John was a Veteran of the Korean War, having proudly served his country with the US Army. He retired from Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, where he was employed as an administrator. After his retirement, he worked in the Probation Department at the Courthouse in Mt. Holly and as a Teacher's Aide in the NEETA School. John was a parishioner at The Church of the Holy Eucharist and a former parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes. He was a 4th degree Knight and member of the Knights of Columbus Council#8733. Some of his hobbies included working outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and watching Notre Dame Football. Husband of the late Joan D. Roth; he is survived by his children Greg (Mary-Beth) Roth; Donna (Herb) Lokan and Timothy Patrick Roth; 5 grandchildren Danielle, Meredith, Allisson, Connor and Hannah. Relatives and friends can call on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 7-9PM at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055. A viewing will also be held on Monday from 10-11AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM. Interment will follow from Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport, NJ.
