Date of Notice: Tuesday April 2, 2013 Newspapers: BCT John R. Meyers, 72, of Columbus, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Beloved husband of Emily (nee Nunes); loving father of Kathryn (Paul) McGrath of Monroe, Kristen (Tom) Cantillon of Branchburg, and Eric (Jill) Meyers of Needham, MA; dear brother of Janice (Larry) Hughes of San Antonio, TX; proud grandfather of Erin, Shannon, Megan, Thomas, Allison, Kirsten, Lauren, Nicolas, Jacob, Sophie, Will, Arianna, and Sienna. He is also survived by his three step-children Billy, Jeff, and Jennifer; and nieces and nephew, Amy, Andy, and Beth. John was a member of St. Andrew R.C. Church in Jobstown, and worked for IBM for 32 years as a systems analyst. He enjoyed bridge, computer games, traveling, and had a passion for all things concerning Tigers. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, April 3rd at St. Andrew R.C. Church, 2489 Monmouth Rd. Jobstown, NJ, from 10AM-11AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment to follow at Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
