Date of Notice: July 7, 2014; Burlington County Times, Courier Post John C. Buzash, 68, of Medford Lakes, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Virtua W. Jersey Hospital, Marlton. Born in Trenton, NJ, John resided in Medford Lakes for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving during the Vietnam War. John was a volunteer with the local YMCA Camps, as well as Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. He was a member of the Log Cabin Players, and was the founder of the Medford Lakes Coffee Clutch. John was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gerrie (nee Michaels) "loved one" Buzash; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dawn Marie and Jeremy Zahorik of Delran, NJ, Kirsti Michelle Heatter of Medford, and Jessica Carrie and George McHugh VII of Homestead, FL; two grandchildren, Maxwell Steven Buzash Heatter and Molly Paige Heatter; and his beloved Snax. He will be missed by many other close family members and friends. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, July 11, 2014, from 9:30-10:15 AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30AM, at the church. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
