Date of Notice: Tuesday, February 28, 2012; Courier Post Jessica Polidori (nee Adamo) of Medford Lakes, succumbed to lung cancer after a three year struggle on Monday, February 27 just after midnight. She enjoyed a 65-year-long marriage to her husband, Mario Polidori, and she helped her husband start a successful manufacturing business in 1981, Connector Products Inc. of Cinnaminson, NJ, that she contributed to until 2006. She lived in Medford Lakes for 27 years. Survived by her husband, Mario; her grandson, Nicholas Polidori and his wife Courtney and their children, Kailan Thomas (Kai) and Nicholas James (Cole) of Medford; her sister Josephine Urbanovich of Marlton; brother Joseph Adamo and wife Mary of Merchantville; and many adored nephews, nieces, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Paul Polidori, her sister Beatrice, her brother John, and her niece Frances. After moving from Wyoming, PA, to New Jersey with her husband, she worked for Gimbels department store in Philadelphia for 30 years. After she moved to Medford, she avidly attended St. Mary of the Lakes church. An excellent cook, she became known for her Italian recipes, especially her delicious bean soup, which her husband encouraged her to patent. Her generous donations to a variety of charities, including Habitat for Humanity and St. Jude's Hospital for Children, improved the lives of many. In lieu of flowers, donations to these charities would be appreciated. Visitors may pay their respects during the viewing at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ, on Friday, March 2, 2012, from 9-10am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. The burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wyoming, PA on Saturday at 11am. Watch Video Tribute
