Wood, 72, of Browns Mills, passed away Wednesday, February 9th at her home surrounded by her loving family.Born in England, Janet has resided in Browns Mills the past 30 years. She was a member of the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, where she served as their secretary. Janet enjoyed knitting, quilting, poetry, photography, camping, and antiqueing.She is survived by her husband of 52 years Larry D. Wood; 4 sons David Wood and his wife Tanya of Browns Mills, Michael Wood and his wife Donna of Hainesport, Gary Wood and wife Rhonda of Wrightstown, and Grant Wood and his wife Diana of Browns Mills; 2 daughters Shannon Akers and husband Bill of Browns Mills, and Amanda Wood and her husband Charles VanPelt of Virginia; her brother Graham Ling and his wife Violet of England: 2 sisters Glenda Sturgeon and husband Kevin, and Kieran Fitch both of England.15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, February 15th, from 11:30 until the time of services at 12:30 pm at the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, 2 Pemberton -Browns Mills Rd., Browns Mills.Interment will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1035 Hooper Ave. Toms River, NJ 08753.
