Date of Notice: Monday, February 27, 2012; Courier Post, Central Record, Gloucester County Times James G. Guthridge, Jr., 52, of Turnersville, NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 24, 2012. Born in Camden, Jim resided in Pennsauken and Medford before moving to Washington Twp. He graduated from Camden Catholic in 1978, and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Drexel University in 1983. He was a parishioner at St. Peter and Paul R.C. Church in Washington Twp., and was a manager and softball player with St. Mary of the Lakes Softball team in Medford. He was a member of St. Mary's singles group in Williamstown, and was a corporate tax manager with National Freight, Inc. in Vineland, NJ for over 25 years. Son of the late Eleanor (nee Tofani) Guthridge; he is survived by his father, James G. Guthridge, Sr. and his companion Fran Hondo of Southampton; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen L. and Jim Enoch of Marlton; his girlfriend, Darlene Carpenter of Sicklerville; his niece, Stephanie Enoch; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, from 6-9PM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 1, at 10:30AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery, Medford.
