Harry A Moos Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Date of Notice: Sunday, May 18, 2014. Newspaper: Courier Post Harry A. Moos, husband of 64 years, of the late Margaret G. Moos, passed away on May 15, 2014, at the Lutheran Gardens of Moorestown. Mr. Moos was 94 years old. He was born in Camden, NJ, and along with his beloved wife, was a long time resident of Westmont, NJ. During WWII, Mr. Moos served in the Merchant Marines, working on the ship's engines. Mr. Moos, always learning, received a Bachelor degree, in industrial relations, from Rutgers University, Camden. He earned a Masters degree and doctorate from Temple University. After many years of working in industry as an industrial psychologist, Mr. Moos retired. He then returned to school to earn certification in Special Needs education and guidance. He then worked in both Camden and Burlington County Vocational schools until 1995. Mr. Moos is survived by daughter, Peggy Jane Ryan and husband, Michael, of Vincentown, NJ, two grandchildren, Leah (Bill) Rieser, Christopher Ryan and Lisa Kemp, three great grandchildren, Ryan, Collin, and Nicholas Rieser, and nephew William (Adele) Moos. He is predeceased by four brothers, John, Bill, Charles, and Joseph, and by a granddaughter, Shawna Lynn Ryan. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 10AM to 11AM at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
