Date of Notice: Wednesday, May 23, 2012; Burlington County Times Eleanor D. Castoro, 84, of Browns Mills, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was a resident of Browns Mills for 55 years. Ellie was a parishioner at St. Ann's RCC and was an active member of the alter rosary society. She loved sewing and made many wedding gowns. Ellie loved cooking for family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Wife of the late Michael A. Castoro, mother of the late Jack Castoro, grandmother of the late Harry McAlpin, Jr. and sister of the late Josephine Frankowski; she is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Harry McAlpin, Marykay and Bill Brogan; her son and 2 daughters-in-law Michael, Sr. and Karen Castoro and Cathy Castoro; her grandchildren Michael Jr. (Courtney) Castoro, Elizabeth McAlpin granddaugher-in-law, James (Abbi) Castoro, Ryan Castoro, Scott and Corey Brogan; one great-grandchild Tyler Castoro, many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends can call on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 9-10:30AM at the Moore Funeral Home 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM from St. Ann's RCC 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills. Interment will be private.
