Date of Notice: Wednesday, September 25, 2013; Norwalk Hour Edith V. "Bud" Edwards, 96, of Medford, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 23, 2013, at the Medford Care Center, Medford, NJ. Born in South Norwalk, CT, and a graduate of Norwalk High School Class of 1935, she resided in Norwalk on Cavanaugh St. with her beloved husband Vivian "Jim" for 65 years until moving to Medford, NJ in 2006. During WWII she was employed at Gardella's Trucking Firm, and later entered into being a homemaker after her daughter was born. She and her husband were the owners of Edwards' School of Driving for over 20 years. Bud was loving and kind, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Bartlem; wife of the late Vivian J. Edwards; sister of the late Verna Scofield and Dorothy Drehr; she is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Gale and Frank Reed of Medford, NJ; two beloved grandchildren, Fran Reed and Liette Kelly; and five great-grandchildren, Aidan, Calin and Owen Reed, and Breyana and Averey Kelly, all of Medford, NJ. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 10-11AM, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, CT. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
