Earl Edward Muntz, 80, of Columbus, NJ passed away suddenly February 25, 2016. Earl was born in Orange, NJ on January 26, 1936, and was raised in Short Hills, NJ. He attended Millburn High School, and graduated from Yale University, and attended Duke University and NYU graduate schools. He lived in Morris Twp., NJ for 39 Years; and was an economist and stock analyst for Moody’s Investor Services and insurance companies. Earl was an avid Chess player and a former member of the Yale Club of NYC. He also had traveled to Europe, Russia, Turkey, and Egypt. A lover of dogs, Earl owned four in his lifetime including newly rescued Lucy. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Brown). Dear brother of Carol Billingham of Sumner, MI, and Phyllis Robberts of Palm Bay, FL. A memorial service will be held privately at Christ Church, Short Hills, NJ later this month. Donations in Earl’s memory may be made to Crossing Paths at Yardley Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 497, Yardley, PA 19067. Arrangements are under the direction of and have been entrusted to Huber Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
