Charles W. Van Horn, 83, of Columbus, NJ passed away Monday, December 23, 2013. He was born in Philadelphia, PA residing much of his life in Browns Mills before moving to Columbus 7 years ago. He was the owner and broker of the C. Van Horn Century 21 Agency for many successful years until retiring in 2007. He served in the U.S. Army assigned to the military police unit during the Korean War, during his military career rendered taps to many fallen comrades. He was a member of Collingswood Cloud Lodge # 101, F&AM, AASR, Valley of Southern NJ and the Crescent Shriners. He is survived by his wife Kuni, daughters and son in laws, Cheryl and Max Wolford of Presidential Lakes, Donna and James Gfell of Browns Mills, Karla Van Horn of Mt. Laurel, Lisa and Dan Grimes of Country Lakes, Lizz and Lorenzo Capeles of Mansfield, Susan Caine of Hanover, a step sister Dana Van Horn of Washington State, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday December 28, 2013 at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm followed by a Masonic funeral service, prayer and time of remembrance.
