Date of Notice: Tuesday, October 8, 2013; Courier Post, Central Record Bertram Ferdinand Molz, 80, of Marlton, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Born in Cologne, NJ, Bert moved from Philadelphia to Medford in 1980. He spent the last 11 years with his wife Joan in Marlton. Bert started BF Molz, Inc., in 1976; it went on to become a very successful business. He was an avid golfer, and President of Legacy Oaks Golf Club. He was a Man of Malvern for 55 years, and was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford. Bert was a talented athlete, coach and fan of Philadelphia sports. He was also President of Christ the King PTA, and was very involved in his church and multiple civic organizations throughout his life. Bert was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. Brother of the late Ernest and Mildred Molz; he is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joan M. (nee Urbanick) Molz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Rose Gottschalk Molz of Madison, WI, and Dean and Michelle Gaffigan Molz of Moorestown, NJ; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joanne Molz of Medford, and Donna and Brian Walsh of Hainesport; and five grandchildren, Dana and Lindsey Walsh of Hainesport, and Jessica, David, and Isabella Molz of Moorestown. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 6-8PM, and again on Friday, October 11, from 9-10AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, at 10:30AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
