Boissonnault, 64, of Medford, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, PA. Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada, she was a longtime resident of Canada before moving to New Jersey in 1976. In Canada, she taught at Eatonville Grade School in Etobicoke after graduating from the Teachers College of Toronto. After receiving her BA from the University of Guelph she went on to teach at Waverly Grade School in Guelph, Ontario. She resumed her teaching career in the late 1980’s at St. Cecelia Elementary School in Pennsauken, New Jersey until her retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We will fondly remember her great love of travel, art, literature and especially her beloved West Highland Terriers. She is survived by her husband Leo of Medford; one son Jean Marc Boissonnault of Medford; one daughter and son-in-law Nicole Andrée and Robert Paul Costello of Amston, CT; one grandson Ian Thomas Costello. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 9-10AM at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, (609) 654-2439. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30AM at St. Mary of the Lakes RCC, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Joyce’s memory to St. Cecilia Middle School 4851 Camden Ave., Pennsauken, NJ 08110. |
