Joan H. Amato, 70, of Manchester, NJ, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007, at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice, Mt. Holly, NJ.

Born in New York, Joan resided in Montclair for 10 years, Lodi, for 40 years, and Manchester for the last 5 years.  She was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Lodi and was an office manager for Weinstein Flooring in Little Silver, NJ.

Wife of the late Joseph Amato, Sr.; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph P. and Hillary Amato of Ashburn, VA; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Amato-Salvacion and Henry Salvacion of W. Milford, NJ; three brothers; three sisters; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be private.  Arrangements are by the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ, (609) 654-2439.
