Cathie Lynn Beland, 52, of Medford, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2005, surrounded by her family at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Mt. Holly.

Born in Camden, Cathie lived in Medford for the last 11 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, Medford, and was involved with their prayer group. She was an active member of the Bowling League in Medford.

Daughter of the late Chester Burton; she is survived by her mother Katherine Burton; her husband of 30 years, Richard Beland; her son, Jonathan R. Beland of Manhattan, NY; her daughter Amanda Beland of Medford; her brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Carol Burton of Voorhees; her sister and brother-in-law, Marlaine and Donovan Saunders of Somers Point, NJ; five nieces and four nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, October 7, 2005, from 6-9 PM, and again on Saturday, October 8, 2005, from 9-10 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, (609) 654-2439. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
