Jean A. Bivona, 73, of Mt. Laurel, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Jean resided in Long Island, NY and Rutland, Vermont for most of her life before moving to Mt. Laurel 3 years ago. Jean was a retired Bank Officer from Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in Brooklyn, NY. Jean was a parishioner at Our Lady of Good Counsel RCC in Moorestown. Jean was a member of the Literary Book Club in Holiday Village, B.P.O Elks Ladies Auxiliary in Rutland, VT; Compassionate Friends Organization and Vermont CARES, both in Vermont. Mother of the late Carolyn Bivona and John C. Bivona; Jean is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Diane and Bruce Loeffler of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Susan Bivona of Pittsburgh, PA, and Michele Gossett of Brigantine, NJ; two grandchildren, Nicole Martitsch-Kreiner and Natalie Gossett; two step-grandchildren, Cheryl and Rachel Loeffler; one sister, Carole Lightstone of Wilmington, NC; her former husband, Anthony J. Bivona; her godson, Lt Col. John Jozwicki; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel RCC 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ.
