A. Frank Alsobrook, 61, of Medford, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Denver Health Medical Center, Denver, CO.

Born in Augusta, GA, Mr. Alsobrook received his MS in Geology from the University of Wisconsin and has resided in Medford for the pasta 20 years. Frank was the President of Alsobrook & Company Inc., Medford, NJ. He was a member of the Society for Mining and Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). Frank recently received the Hal Williams Hardinge Award "in recognition of his contributions in the areas of mineral exploration and development, mineral processing and market research; and (for his) distinguished service to SME and long-standing support and dedication to the Industrial Minerals Division of SME and other professional organizations." Frank was a member of the Medford United Methodist Church.

Son of the late Jacqueline Alsobrook; he is survived by his wife, Bette Alsobrook (nee Silven); one daughter Julie K. Alsobrook of Swedesboro, NJ; his father, Rev. W. Aubrey Alsobrook of Americus, GA; one sister, Claire Replogle of St. Charles, Ill; one niece, Lynn Replogle of St. Charles Ill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 11:30AM from Medford Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Rd. Medford, NJ 08055.
