Elizabeth “Betty” A. Morgan, 79, of Medford, passed away Friday, August 15, 2008, at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Bellerose, L.I., NY, Betty has lived in the Medford area since 1972.  She was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford.  Betty loved to entertain family and friends, go to the beach, travel the world, was an avid bridge player and enjoyed reading.

Mother of the late Donald G. Morgan; sister of the late Robert Sanderson (Margaret); she is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Raymond A. Morgan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond, Jr. and Hope Morgan of Shamong, Kevin and Angela Morgan of Medford, Scott and Cathie Morgan of Haddonfield; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Gene Watson of Idaho Falls, ID, Janice and Dana Anderson of Portland, OR, and Beth Ann and Eric Peterson of Medford; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Alice Silver and Eileen and Joseph Specht; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, August 18, 2008, from 6-8 PM, and again on Tuesday, August 19, from 11:30AM-12:30PM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, (609) 654-2439.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1 PM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford.

Interment will be held privately in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly.
