Joseph F. Fischl, 66, of Shamong, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008, at home.

Born in New York, NY, Joseph resided in Indian Mills for the last 23 years.  He was a parishioner at the Church of the Holy Eucharist in Tabernacle.  He was a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #8733.  Following a successful 20+ year career at Union Carbide, Joseph started Fischl Associates, a financial consulting firm, dedicated to international and domestic economic development projects.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary (nee Gilmartin) Fischl; his daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Philip Degnan of Haddon Twp.; his son and daughter-in-law, J. Mathew and Carolyn Fischl of Audubon, NJ; his son Daniel Fischl of Pennsauken, NJ; and two grandchildren, Philip Joseph and Patrick Degnan.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, September 7, 2008, from 6-8 PM, and again on Monday, September 8, from 9-10 AM, at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle (609) 268-8383.  A Funeral Mass will follow on Monday, at 10 AM, at the church. 

Interment will be held privately.
