Name : Richmond Banks, Sr. Date of Notice Monday, July 28, 2008 Burlington County Time, Richmond Banks, Sr.,78, of Browns Mills, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Richmond proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, Korean and Indochina. He retired after 23 1/2 years of service as a Supple Sergeant. He worked for the PX Military Exchange for 15 years as a Warehouse Foreman and also a Custodian at McGuire Air Force Base. He was a member of the VFW Post in Pemberton & was devoted to his faith and church. Richmond enjoyed traveling especially to Virginia and Florida to visit with his family, watching baseball & Bingo. With much pride and joy, he tended to his flower garden daily. Beloved husband of Floranell “Flo” (nee Russell) Devoted father of Betty Phillips, Bernadette, Beverly, Richmond (Angela) Banks, Jr. & the late Darwin Banks. Dear brother of James Banks, which is the only surviving sibling out of 14. Loving grandfather of 7 & great grandfather of 2. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
